MISSION

Libré at Five exists to build what too many creatives never had — a room designed to give back. We are a Hartford-based community for independent creatives and small business owners who are doing the work without always having the infrastructure to sustain it. Our mission is to close the gap between talent and opportunity by creating intentional spaces where connection, knowledge, and resources move freely among the people who need them most.

 

 

 

OUR FOCUS


We center the creative entrepreneur. The photographer, the designer, the consultant, the maker, the builder. The person with vision and drive who has been told the table is full. Libré at Five is not a networking organization. It is a community of practice — built for people who believe their work has value and are ready to be in a room that agrees.
Our gatherings are rooted in three things: honest conversation, shared resources, and real relationships. No follower count required.

To show up consistently for Hartford's creative community by making financial literacy, business education, and professional development accessible to those who need it most.


To build an organization that sustains itself and its people — one that is transparent in how it operates and intentional about where its resources go.


To grow Libré at Five into a recognized institution that connects Hartford's creative talent to the economic opportunities they have always deserved.


To formalize our commitment to this community by transitioning Libré at Five into a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit — because the work we do deserves a structure that protects it, funds it, and ensures it outlasts any one moment.


To prove that when a community is built on real infrastructure and genuine investment in people, it does not just survive. It becomes a blueprint.
